This course is a great resource for those directly involved in the care provisions of clients with dementia as well as those in roles who need to have a basic understanding of dementia. The course provides participants with the knowledge required to understand dementia and its affects on clients and their families as well as developing a toolbox for supporting individuals with dementia, overcoming social barriers and meeting the needs, wishes and preferences in line with relevant legislation.

3 hours/ half a day
The trainer will carry out ongoing assessment. learners will be expected to participate in class activities, group discussions and question and answers session.
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
